Feeders
These feeders are designed for use in feedlots and pastures. We have been building and selling these feeders for about seven years.
88 Series
The 88 series feeders are 88" wide and can accommodate a large round or large square bale. These feeders have a hay basket which holds the bale up off of the pan, allowing your cattle to have a second chance at any hay which is dropped. This feature greatly eliminates hay waste so that some of our customers say that hay waste is zero.
Our 8820 feeder (shown at right) features 9.5L x 15 tires for mobility.
The 8808 feeder is 88" wide and 8' long. This skid feeder is designed for feeding one bale at a time and can feed up to 24 head of cattle. This is our most popular feeder.
76 Series
The 76 series is designed primarily for silage or haylage. It is 76" wide and is an open feeder. The 12" deep pan holds a lot of feed and, being an open feeder, it is easy to clean out.
The feeder bottom is 11ga (1/8") carbon steel covered with a one part epoxy paint. From our observation they seem to be holding up very well. If properly cared for they should give you 15 to 20 years of service.
We build these feeders in 4' increments from 8' up to 28'. We offer skid models for stationary feeding and rubber tire models for easy transport. The 7620 is pictured at right.
Horse Feeder
Our Horse Feeder is 88" wide and 96" long. The one side is hinged to open for the loading of the feeder. This feeder has a nylon roof to shed rain and snow, keeping your feed high and dry.
